Home vs Gym
Happy New Year and Happy New You! I want to jump right into the New Year with a discussion on exercising, something many of us choose as a resolution each year. Two of the most popular ways to work out are at home or at the gym. I started with home workouts , then I joined the gym. Working out at home provides many benefits such as the ease of heading straight from the bedroom to your living room. It is also safer right now because of COVID and privacy is another really good reason to work out from home. Workouts from home can be easily carried out with the help of Youtube videos and minimal equipment. In the beginning of my journey when I worked out from home I used body weight exercises. They truly work wonders for most people at any fitness level. Examples of Bodyweight Exercises
Planks
Push Ups
Wall Sits
Jumping Jacks
Squats
Crunches

Working out at the gym provides a larger variety of equipment for a total body workout. It also provides paid Trainers or at minimum someone who knows what they are doing and can provide a helping hand! When it comes to working out you should aim for 3-5 days a week.
On my personal journey I wanted to challenge myself a bit more so I decided to start working out at the gym. I really had no idea what to do or any professional help. After researching the topic I found an abundance of routines for every part of the body.
